Hello All!
I will be teaching an introductory psychology lab this fall, and I'm hoping to build the course around a "psychology of everyday life" sorta thing. As such, I was hoping to crowdsource for the most interesting bits of psychology you might know about/want to know more about, so I can keep these undergrad freshmen interested.

Not really sure whether you can call this undergrad level, but a great place to start at, I believe, is the nature-nurture debate. Steven Pinker has written a good article arguing against the Blank Slate, or the idea that we humans are being born without a prescribed set of moral and behavioural principles. It's quite a read, but I'm sure it's something to consider! ( link)
